La Chiconnière is a municipal function room in Vendeville, in the Nord department. The municipality makes it available to individuals, associations and businesses for meals, receptions, shows and other gatherings. With 285 m² of space, including a 50 m² stage, it offers a setting suitable for both a dinner and an event where some of the audience are standing.

Capacity depends on the chosen layout: the room can accommodate up to 168 people seated for a meal, 230 people seated for a show or 300 people standing. The built-in stage makes it possible to plan speeches, entertainment or performances, while the bar with refrigerators, cloakroom and toilets make it easier to welcome guests.

A kitchen for food preparation and reheating is available. It includes hotplates, ovens, a cold room, a freezer and a dishwasher. The hire also includes crockery, tables and chairs. Outside, a terrace and a private green space complete the facilities.

Bookings are made through the town hall services, by submitting a written request or using the online pre-booking form. The terms and prices vary in particular depending on whether or not the applicant lives in Vendeville. The room can be booked once per year per family. This gives organisers an equipped venue for bringing their guests together, while allowing them to prepare the other aspects of their event themselves, such as catering, decoration or entertainment.
