Zehntscheuer Zuffenhausen is a historic civic building whose rooms are available to associations and organisations from the district for meetings and events. The listed building dates back to 1569 and, following an extensive renovation, is operated as a shared community facility. Important for event planners: the venue is generally not available for private or commercial use. The Zuffenhausen district office decides on use and also handles enquiries about room bookings.
The five rooms cover a total area of 277 square metres. They include a ground-floor hall measuring 112 square metres and an upstairs hall measuring 94 square metres. Two meeting rooms, measuring 19 and 18 square metres respectively, are suitable for smaller gatherings. The facilities also include an open gallery in the attic measuring 34 square metres. There is a kitchen on the ground floor.
The different room sizes allow local associations and organisations to enquire about suitable spaces for meetings, assemblies, public events, rehearsals and practice sessions. The historic fabric of the building gives it a distinctive character, while its several floors allow for different uses within the building. The rooms cannot be booked during the summer and Christmas holidays. Anyone planning an event should therefore contact the relevant district office well in advance to ask about availability and the applicable conditions. According to the city, Zehntscheuer is generally not available for private celebrations or commercial events.
