The Stanley Theatre

The Stanley Theatre is a historic performance venue in downtown Utica, New York, offering event organisers a distinctive setting for selected private and corporate occasions. Its richly decorated interiors, grand staircase, lobby and mezzanine promenade provide an atmospheric backdrop for award ceremonies, team events and corporate gatherings. The building's theatre character makes it a memorable choice for organisers seeking a setting with architectural presence rather than a standard function room.

Private event bookings can include practical event furnishings and equipment, with chairs, tables, linens, a podium, speaker and microphone available as optional additions under the event contract. Organisers should note that access to the venue's spaces depends on the theatre's performance schedule, so availability needs to be discussed with the booking team.

Alongside private hire, The Stanley presents a varied programme of live entertainment, including touring theatre productions, concerts and other stage shows. This active performance use gives the venue an established theatrical atmosphere and means the spaces are managed around a working show calendar. The theatre also has artist facilities, including dressing rooms and a green room, supporting professional productions and performers.

Based at 259 Genesee Street in Utica, The Stanley Theatre is a striking option for planners arranging a corporate celebration, recognition event or other gathering that would benefit from a historic auditorium and elegant public spaces. Enquiries about private events and rental availability can be made directly to the theatre.
