Henry Clay Events

The Henry Clay is a historic event venue in downtown Louisville, offering a collection of ballrooms and supporting spaces for weddings, receptions, corporate galas and other celebrations. Its restored 1920s architecture, original features and stained-glass details give the rooms a distinctive setting, while the different spaces allow organisers to shape the layout around their event.

The Grand Ballroom and Beaux Arts Ballroom provide elegant settings for larger gatherings, ceremonies and receptions. Smaller spaces, including the South Room, Billiards Room, Tavern Room, lounges and courtyard, can be used for drinks, dining, preparations or more intimate parts of a programme. The adjacent Gramercy adds another ballroom option, with space for a ceremony and reception for up to 300 guests. Organisers can hire individual floors or combine spaces, depending on the event and guest list.

The venue is suited to wedding ceremonies and receptions, as well as corporate events, awards programmes, holiday parties and social gatherings. Standard rentals include tables, chairs and basic linens for round tables, with the venue preparing the included equipment before guests arrive. Organisers can discuss their event requirements, check availability and arrange a site visit through the venue's enquiry process. The Henry Clay provides a characterful Louisville setting for planners seeking historic interiors alongside practical, adaptable event rooms.
