Hickstead

Set in the Sussex countryside, Hickstead offers indoor spaces and extensive outdoor areas for organisers planning events of different sizes. Its venue hire service caters for gatherings from around 30 to 3,000 people, with options for corporate meetings and conferences, family celebrations, Christmas parties and larger outdoor occasions.

The grounds have hosted events such as family fun days, rallies and music concerts. The open space gives organisers room to plan outdoor formats, while the indoor facilities provide a setting for more formal or weather-independent gatherings. The team can discuss bespoke requirements and help prospective organisers explore which spaces may suit their plans.

Hickstead also offers party and celebration options, including Christmas packages with shared or exclusive party nights. On-site catering is available, with menu choices to suit the occasion. For meetings and conferences, the rural location offers a quieter setting while remaining close to major routes and within reach of transport links to London airports and nearby railway stations.

The venue is also used by equestrian organisations and coaches for clinics, camps and training events. Its bookable facilities include showjumping arenas and an all-weather cross-country course, with on-site stabling and parking for horseboxes and trailers. These facilities can support day clinics and multi-day camps, subject to availability and booking conditions.

Organisers can contact the Hickstead team to discuss event format, guest numbers, catering and venue options. Whether arranging a company gathering, a family celebration, a conference or an outdoor event, Hickstead provides a substantial Sussex setting with the flexibility to accommodate a broad range of plans.
