Gram Parsons' Derry Down

Gram Parsons' Derry Down is a historic listening room in downtown Winter Haven, Florida, available for live music and private gatherings. The restored venue has a strong connection to the area's musical heritage and was dedicated to music and music education after its restoration. Today, it brings musicians and audiences together through performances, community programmes and opportunities for people of different ages and experience levels to take part.

The programme includes touring artists, shows by young musicians and regular open mic nights. These sessions welcome beginners as well as experienced performers, giving local songwriters and musicians a chance to play on stage in a supportive setting. The venue also hosts special music events and learning experiences, including songwriting workshops and masterclasses, alongside its public performances.

Organisers can enquire about hiring the space for private gatherings. Its intimate listening-room character makes it a distinctive option for occasions where live music and a close connection between performers and guests are central to the experience. Located in a historic building associated with Gram Parsons and the area's music scene, the venue offers a setting with a clear sense of local identity rather than a generic function room.

Whether planning a private get-together or exploring a music-focused event, organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss availability and arrangements. Gram Parsons' Derry Down also maintains a public programme of ticketed performances, open mic sessions and music education events, continuing its role as a place for both local participation and visiting artists in Winter Haven.
