4-H Camp Pioneer

Set among the mountains and woodland of Randolph County, Camp Pioneer is a 95-acre site offering indoor and outdoor spaces for events, group stays and camps. Organisers can choose from facilities across the main campus and the agricultural grounds, making it possible to host occasions ranging from family gatherings to larger community events.

The main complex includes a dining hall, kitchen and assembly hall. The assembly hall has a stage and audio-visual facilities, while the dining areas can accommodate substantial groups. For outdoor occasions, Vespers Knoll provides a hillside setting for wedding ceremonies, and the grounds also include pavilions, picnic areas, ponds and open spaces. Wedding options include both indoor reception facilities and outdoor locations, with dedicated information about venue arrangements and a wedding package available.

Camp Pioneer also welcomes reunions, parties, meetings, conferences, retreats, fairs and agricultural events. The Dakan Arena and nearby barn provide space for equine activities such as rodeos, horse shows and training events. Groups planning overnight programmes can book dormitory accommodation, with capacity for up to 160 people, as well as access to shared facilities including a dining hall, trails, courts and recreation areas. RV campsites are available at the agricultural campus, and the site has pavilions suited to smaller gatherings.

Facilities and arrangements vary by location and event, so organisers can discuss their plans with the Camp Pioneer team before making a reservation. Its combination of meeting and dining spaces, outdoor settings, accommodation and specialist equine facilities makes it a flexible choice for events and group stays near Beverly, West Virginia.
