The Cambridge Meeting Space

The Cambridge Meeting Space provides conference and event facilities at Murray Edwards College in Cambridge. Organisers can choose from two self-contained conference centres, bookable meeting rooms and dining spaces, with options suited to training days, lectures, product launches, seminars, receptions and larger conferences.

Buckingham House combines a lecture theatre for up to 140 delegates with flexible seminar rooms, smaller breakout rooms, a foyer for refreshments or drinks receptions and bedrooms for residential conferences. Paula Browne House has a lecture theatre for up to 146, adaptable teaching rooms, a conference room, seminar rooms and a bright reception foyer. Smaller rooms are also available for meetings and focused group sessions.

For meals and celebrations, the College offers several distinctive dining rooms, including the Dome Dining Hall, the Fellows’ rooms, the Long Room and the Council Room. These spaces can host formal dinners, conference meals, receptions and other private or corporate occasions. The in-house kitchen prepares seasonal food, with catering options ranging from delegate refreshments and lunch to dinners and drinks receptions.

The venue can bring together meeting space, food and accommodation for multi-day programmes. It also welcomes summer schools and educational groups, with day and residential arrangements available. Set within the College’s modernist campus, the venue offers gardens, artworks and on-site parking, with the Cambridge city centre within reach.
