The Yellow Door Event Space

The Yellow Door Event Space is a small, private-hire venue in downtown Olathe for intimate gatherings, celebrations and business occasions. Its indoor space accommodates up to 28 guests in a dining layout, while an open-house arrangement using the outdoor area can host up to 45. A deck and backyard provide extra room in suitable weather, including a setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The venue is designed for organisers who want a more personal-scale space rather than a large function hall.

Events hosted here include micro weddings and elopements, engagement celebrations, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, anniversaries, family get-togethers, cocktail socials and seasonal parties. Business meetings and company gatherings are also welcome. Organisers can book the space by the hour or choose a package, with wedding options that include short celebrations as well as a ceremony and reception. Wedding bookings receive use of the venue for the day.

The venue offers access to a breakroom kitchen, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen monitor, private parking and accessible facilities. Outdoor space is available when conditions allow. Clients may arrange their own food or bring in a caterer, and the venue can suggest preferred suppliers. Some packages combine the room hire with décor, styling assistance and coordination from the associated party-design team. This allows organisers to choose between a straightforward venue rental and a more supported setup, depending on the occasion and their plans. Visits are arranged by appointment, and availability, package details and any seasonal arrangements should be confirmed when enquiring.
