VeVents - tailor-made events, weddings and group trips

VeVents is Veerle Vercruysse's event agency. I am based in East Flanders, between the Meetjesland and the Flemish Ardennes. I organize tailor-made events for companies, couples, families, and groups of friends in Ghent, Bruges, and the rest of Flanders.

How can I help you?

• Corporate events and team building: a staff party, a company outing, or a multi-day team building event, in Belgium or elsewhere in Europe.
• Weddings: full wedding planning or just coordination on the wedding day itself.
• Family celebrations: an anniversary, birthday, communion, or spring festival.
• Tailor-made group travel and destination events: program, transport, accommodation, and activities, viewed as a single entity.
• Freelance event coordination: your organization already has an event, but temporarily needs an experienced coordinator.

How I work

Everything starts with a conversation. Who are we organizing for? What atmosphere are you looking for? What absolutely cannot be missing, and what is the budget? I translate this into a clear concept and plan. After that, I arrange the location, suppliers, timing, budget, and schedule, and I am present on the day itself. From the first idea to the last guest, you have a single point of contact.

My experience

For twenty years, I organized multi-day trips in the education sector to destinations including Switzerland, Italy, London, and Amsterdam, and developed theater and musical productions. Since 2017, I have been coordinating the crew operations of Rijvers Festival: approximately 1,400 volunteers and a team of around 25 people. Maintaining an overview and staying calm when things get busy is part of my daily routine.
