UW Conference Services

UW Conference Services provides a practical, campus-based setting for conferences, meetings, training programmes, youth camps and other organised gatherings in Seattle. Delivered through the University of Washington’s Housing & Food Services team, the service brings meeting space, accommodation, dining and event support together in one location.

Organisers can choose from a broad range of rooms across university residence halls and other campus facilities. Options include smaller meeting and classroom spaces, lounges, banquet rooms, auditoriums and larger presentation areas, with capacities ranging from intimate groups to audiences of more than 200. Rooms can support different layouts and event formats, including presentations, workshops, training sessions, receptions and conference programmes.

The summer conference offering is particularly suited to multi-day events. Organisers can arrange residence hall accommodation, with thousands of beds available in a variety of room types, alongside flexible dining plans and catered food and beverage service. Catering can support everything from simple refreshments and boxed meals to larger functions, with alcohol service available where appropriate.

Additional support includes event registration, guest accommodation planning, room diagrams, parking coordination and guidance through the university approval process. Off-campus groups generally need sponsorship from a University of Washington department or organisation, so early planning is recommended.
