The Canalside

The Canalside is a flexible conference and event venue near Bridgwater in Somerset, conveniently located around five minutes from Junction 24 of the M5. The venue welcomes organisers planning corporate meetings, conferences, training days, seminars, exhibitions, networking events, weddings, parties and formal celebrations.

Its largest space, Hollinsworth Hall, can accommodate up to 300 guests in a theatre-style layout and can be adapted for conferences, product launches, awards evenings, wedding receptions, charity balls and large private functions. The hall includes natural light, air conditioning, adjustable lighting, a sprung wooden floor, projection facilities, PA equipment and hybrid event options. Smaller rooms provide practical settings for board meetings, interviews, seminars, workshops and breakout sessions.

The Canalside also offers dedicated support from an experienced events team, helping organisers plan room layouts, catering, equipment and the wider running of their occasion. In-house food options range from refreshments and finger buffets to hot or cold meals and formal three-course dining. A fully licensed bar is available for weddings, parties and evening events.

Facilities include on-site parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, projectors, screens, sound equipment, lecterns, flip charts, laptop hire and adjustable lighting.
