De Gentse Barge is a unique event venue on the water in the historic heart of Ghent. The reconstructed 18th-century tow barge offers organizers an atmospheric setting for corporate events, receptions, product launches, press conferences, networking activities, meetings, group outings, and private parties. The boat also provides an original alternative to a traditional venue for weddings or festive family gatherings.

Organizers can hire the Ghent Barge with or without a cruise. During the tour, various routes are possible on the Leie, the Schelde, the Moervaart, the Durme, and the canals around Ghent, among others. This allows the program to be tailored to the desired duration, atmosphere, and destination. An evening cruise or a stop at an agreed location is also possible, subject to the route's permission.

The boat accommodates up to 65 people. The upper deck is suitable for receptions and informal gatherings, while the lower deck offers seating for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Amenities such as Wi-Fi, power outlets, a projection screen, and sound equipment are available for meetings and business gatherings.
