X Centre

X Centre is a flexible meeting and event venue on Commercial Road in Exeter, offering practical spaces for organisers planning conferences, training sessions, workshops, meetings and smaller business or community events.

The venue provides two adaptable rooms. The upstairs conference room covers approximately 70 square metres and can be arranged for up to 24 people in a table-based layout or around 50 guests in theatre style. It includes access to presentation equipment, wireless internet, a flipchart, television and DVD facilities, with tea and coffee available as part of the booking. The room can also suit a broader range of uses, including talks, small performances, exhibitions and publicity events.

On the ground floor, a smaller meeting area of approximately 50 square metres accommodates up to 20 seated guests or 40 standing. This space includes soft seating, a full kitchen and an IT suite with computers and internet access, making it useful for workshops, collaborative sessions and informal meetings.

Located close to Exeter Quayside, X Centre offers an accessible and characterful setting for organisers who need a convenient venue in the city. Its rooms can support both structured business gatherings and more informal events, while the on-site facilities help organisers manage refreshments, presentations and connectivity in one location. The venue is managed by Headway Devon, with rental income supporting the charity’s work for people affected by acquired brain injury and their families.
