Tall Timbers Baptist Conference Center

Tall Timbers Baptist Conference Center is a year-round group venue and retreat destination in Forest Hill, Louisiana, serving churches, schools, universities and community organisations. Set near Kisatchie National Forest and around a spring-fed lake, the centre combines practical meeting facilities, overnight accommodation and outdoor recreation in one campus.

Organisers can choose from several conference spaces for training days, church gatherings, retreats, workshops, youth programmes and larger group events. The Georgia Barnette Conference Center provides a flexible main room that can seat up to 600 people when opened out, or 225 people with six surrounding classroom spaces. Other rooms across the site support smaller meetings and breakout sessions. Tall Timbers can assist with room layouts and offers equipment such as tables, chairs, podiums, microphones, projectors, screens and televisions. Wi-Fi is available in the conference rooms.

Accommodation is available in the Lee Lodge Hotel, Indian Creek Lodge, Kincaid Lodge and several cabins, with the wider campus able to accommodate large groups. The hotel includes lake-view rooms, while cabins provide a more informal option for camps, retreats and youth stays. An RV park is also available.

Groups can add recreation to their programme, with options including swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, sports fields, walking trails, fishing, high ropes, low ropes, archery tag and Bazooka Ball. The recreation team can also create themed games, scavenger hunts and other activities around a group’s objectives. Tall Timbers is particularly suited to organisers seeking an all-in-one conference, camp or retreat setting with meeting rooms, lodging and activities on site.
