The Central

The Central is an exclusive-use conference and events venue in London’s West End, offering a flexible setting for organisers planning business, social and private occasions. Located on Hallam Street near Oxford Circus and Great Portland Street, the venue provides a convenient central base for local and visiting guests, with hotels, restaurants, bars and theatres nearby.

Its spaces are designed to adapt to different event formats and guest numbers. Wolfson Hall is the main event room, suitable for conferences, seminars, corporate gatherings, charity dinners, awards evenings, weddings and larger celebrations. It can be arranged for theatre-style presentations, banqueting, receptions, cabaret and other layouts, with an integrated screen and projector, professional lighting, staging, microphones and adaptable furniture.

The light-filled Atrium adds a distinctive reception and networking area, with a retractable glass roof that creates an open atmosphere during the day and a more intimate feel in the evening. It works well for welcome drinks, refreshments, breakout activity, wedding receptions and informal conversations. Three conference rooms can be used separately or combined for meetings, training sessions, private discussions and conference breakouts.

The Central provides in-house catering with menus designed around different tastes and dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices. Organisers can also benefit from configurable room layouts, reliable Wi-Fi, climate control, accessible facilities, a hearing loop, baby-changing provision and on-site support. An experienced events director works with planners from the initial enquiry through to the event day, helping coordinate timings, layouts, suppliers and practical details. The venue is suited to conferences, AGMs, education and training sessions, product launches, networking events, weddings, fundraising events, dinners and private celebrations for approximately 12 to 180 guests.
