Albert H. Anderson Conference Center

Albert H. Anderson Conference Center is a flexible event venue on the campus of Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. The centre welcomes university departments, businesses, community organisations, non-profit groups and other external organisers for a broad range of occasions, including conferences, meetings, training sessions, banquets, performances, celebrations and special events.

The venue combines practical conference facilities with spaces suited to social and formal gatherings. Available areas include meeting rooms, a formal dining room, McNeil Banquet Hall, Dillard Auditorium and the larger K.R. Williams Auditorium. This range allows organisers to plan anything from a focused workshop or board meeting to a large conference, awards ceremony, concert, graduation-related function or community programme. The K.R. Williams Auditorium includes a main floor, balcony, lobby, dressing rooms and green room, offering additional flexibility for productions and presentations.

Event organisers can access a range of audiovisual and technical equipment, with support available for room set-up and event requirements. The Conferences and Institutes team assists with reservations, planning, venue coordination and practical arrangements before and during the event. On-site attendants, housekeeping and security support may also be arranged according to the event format and attendance.

Food service is available through the university’s contracted catering partner, while parking is available for venue users. The centre’s location near the main WSSU campus makes it suitable for corporate, educational, civic and cultural events in Winston-Salem. External organisations can request space, equipment and staffing through the university’s event reservations office.
