Episcopal Conference Center Oakhurst (ECCO)

ECCO Conference Center Oakhurst is a mountain conference and retreat venue near Yosemite National Park, welcoming religious, educational, charitable, corporate and private groups. Set across 160 acres of wooded grounds near Oakhurst, California, the centre offers a peaceful setting for conferences, residential retreats, workshops, group programmes, weddings and special events.

The venue can accommodate intimate gatherings of around 15 people as well as larger conferences for 150 or more guests. Several meeting spaces are available, including rooms for small working groups, breakout sessions and larger presentations. Facilities include flexible seating layouts, Wi-Fi, projectors, projection screens, whiteboards, easels and other practical meeting equipment. Walters’ Chapel provides a larger presentation and gathering space with seating for up to 200 people, while other rooms are suited to workshops, leadership meetings and smaller group discussions.

ECCO also provides on-site accommodation in lodges, dormitory-style rooms, a retreat house and recreational vehicle spaces. This makes it suitable for multi-day programmes where organisers want delegates to stay close to the meeting facilities. Catering is provided through the on-site dining hall, with fresh meals served buffet style and options for dietary requirements, packed lunches, outdoor picnics and special banquets. Lyles Dining Hall can host up to 200 guests for meals and formal receptions.

For weddings, organisers can choose between an outdoor chapel beside the pond and an indoor chapel with stained-glass features. Wedding receptions, banquet menus and overnight packages are available, creating a practical setting for destination celebrations and weekend gatherings. The surrounding Yosemite region also offers opportunities for outdoor recreation and group excursions.
