The NonProfit Center

The NonProfit Center provides practical, well-equipped meeting and event space in Boston’s Leather District, close to South Station and the city’s main transport links. Its facilities are designed for nonprofit organisations, associations, community groups and mission-led teams arranging conferences, seminars, workshops, training sessions, board meetings, staff retreats and hybrid gatherings.

The main Jonathan Spack Community Conference Center can host up to 200 guests in theatre-style seating or 120 guests at round tables. The space can be divided into separate East and West rooms, making it suitable for smaller presentations, breakout sessions or different room layouts during a larger programme. Event organisers have access to three screens, ceiling-mounted projectors, speakers, lavalier microphones, a user-friendly AV control panel, wireless internet, whiteboards and modern conference furniture. A shared kitchen and mini-fridge storage are also available.

Additional rooms include the Wayne Glynn Community Room, Open Door Conference Room and Videoconferencing Room. These spaces support smaller meetings, training sessions and online or hybrid events, with audiovisual facilities available throughout the meeting area. An outdoor courtyard provides an additional setting for breaks, informal networking or community activities.

The venue offers half-day, full-day, evening and selected Saturday rental periods. Its central location makes it straightforward for delegates arriving by MBTA, commuter rail or Amtrak, while nearby car parks provide options for those travelling by road. The building is housed in a historic property with recognised environmental credentials, combining character, accessibility and dependable event infrastructure.
