The Joseph Joachim Concert Hall at the Berlin University of the Arts is an elegant venue located in the historic building of the former Joachimstal Gymnasium. The hall is particularly well-suited for concerts, musical productions, lectures, symposia, competitions, masterclasses, and select conference formats. Cultural events, readings, comedy, cabaret, and similar stage performances can also find a fitting setting here.

With 392 fixed seats, the venue offers space for medium-sized events. The seating includes rows as well as additional seats in alcoves and is also wheelchair accessible. The stage is approximately 12.6 meters wide and 7.4 meters deep. A variable orchestra platform with extendable steps allows for flexible adaptation to different musical ensembles and stage requirements.

The facilities include two Steinway D grand pianos, a harpsichord, a recording studio for sound reinforcement and speech reinforcement, and a dressing room for performers. A small rehearsal and preparation room is also available behind the stage. The approximately 200-square-meter foyer with a terrace can be used for receptions and provides space for admissions, intermissions, or the conclusion of an event.

The concert hall is rented fully equipped for performances. Heating, lighting, and cleaning are included. Depending on the type of event, additional services such as technical support, sound engineer, ushers, or cloakroom attendants can be arranged. The venue is available for rent to event organizers, cultural institutions, musical ensembles, companies, and organizations seeking a well-equipped concert and event space in a central Berlin location. Direct access to the Spichernstraße U-Bahn station facilitates arrival for guests and performers.
