De Reusch – A living experience center

De Reusch is much more than a water tower. It is a place where past, future, and experience come together. Our ambition is to develop De Reusch into an inspiring experience center that connects and amazes people.

For decades, the tower has been the landmark of Schimmert, a symbol of community strength and innovation. Thanks to its unique architecture and location in the beautiful South Limburg landscape, De Reusch offers a special experience full of views, history, and a vision for the future.

Sustainable preservation as a foundation

De Reusch has been renovated to be energy-neutral and serves as an example of circular monument management. For us, sustainability is not an end in itself, but the way we give meaning – from the use of materials to energy and reuse.

The tower is preserved by using it: as a place of meeting, education, gastronomy, culture, and recreation. In this way, we make De Reusch a living monument.
