Looking for a meeting room with a 'feel-at-home' atmosphere? Welcome to our co-housing project.

Huyze Verstraete, an initiative of the Désiré Collen Foundation was officially inaugurated on 20 September 2024, to continue the hospitality academics and researchers used to encounter at the home of the Verstraete family.

At Huyze Verstraete, visiting scientists and academics can take up residence for shorter or longer periods, while working or doing research at the university or related. It is located in the center of a bustling student town.

The guesthouse has four studio’s, two fully equipped meeting rooms for seminars and a large garden.

Our meeting rooms are available for academic, professional, and research-related events.

Capacity: Ideal for small to medium-sized groups (8-18p).

Amenities: High quality screen for presentation and video calls, coffee and tea facilities, white board, the use of the garden.

The meeting rooms can be rented for morning or afternoon sessions or for a whole day.
