Who says golf and classic cars don't go together? With the De2Pk'tjes Golf Challenge, we combine the best of both worlds: a nostalgic drive in iconic Citroën 2CVs through the Flemish Ardennes and an exclusive golf introduction at one of the most beautiful golf locations in East Flanders, Royal Golf Club Oudenaarde.
This unique activity is ideal for team building, a group outing, a client activity, or an original day out with friends. Don't expect a classic outing, but an experience full of adventure, cooperation, competition, and above all, lots of fun.
ON OUR WAY TO THE GOLF COURSE… BUT WHICH ROUTE ARE YOU TAKING?
The Golf Challenge starts at De2Pk'tjes in Kruisem. There you will receive the keys to an authentic Citroën 2CV and the adventure begins.
No pre-planned route or traditional GPS, but an interactive Challenge where you have to find your own way to the golf course using waypoints. Along the way, you will drive along country roads, hidden lanes, and beautiful vistas of the Flemish Ardennes.
At each waypoint, a question or task appears on the screen. Correct answers earn points and ultimately determine your place in the final standings.
The challenge is to reach the grounds of Royal Golf Club Oudenaarde within 1 hour and 30 minutes, where the golf pro expects you promptly at the clubhouse at 10:30 or 15:30.
A UNIQUE RECEPTION IN A HISTORIC SETTING
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the beautiful castle of Royal Golf Club Oudenaarde. The location alone is impressive.
The golf introduction starts with a warm welcome and an accessible explanation of the sport of golf, the basic rules, and the most commonly used golf terms. This ensures that even those who have never held a golf club before feel immediately at ease.
Next, the PGA professionals demonstrate the various techniques, from a powerful golf swing to accurate putting. If desired, the instructor can also play a sample hole so that you can immediately see how things work on a real golf course.
TIME TO TAKE MAINTAIN THE GOLF CLUB YOURSELF
After the demonstrations, it is time to get to work yourself.
Under the guidance of experienced PGA professionals, you will practice your first swings, learn the correct techniques, and discover how challenging and relaxing golf can be. Naturally, all necessary equipment is provided.
The standard introductory golf course lasts approximately two hours and can be concluded with a fun putting competition. An ideal way to further ignite the competitive atmosphere among colleagues, friends, or family members.
THE PERFECT ACTIVITY FOR TEAM BUILDING
What makes this activity so special is the combination of different elements. During the drive, teams work together to find the right route and collect as many points as possible along the way. On the golf course, it is then all about concentration, technique, and fun.
That mix of collaboration, challenge, and relaxation makes the Golf Challenge particularly popular for:
Team building
Corporate events
Customer activities
Bachelors
Family days
Friend groups
Associations
Afterwards, you return to De2Pk'tjes, where the scoreboard reveals which team can crown itself the winner of the Golf Challenge.
PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE FOR EVERY GROUP
The golf introduction is always supervised by qualified PGA professionals.
Depending on the group size, we provide:
5 to 12 people → 1 instructor
13 to 24 people → 2 instructors
25 to 36 people → 3 instructors
This way, every participant receives sufficient guidance, and everyone gets the most out of this unique experience.
