30 years of Sylvester: Flemish Brabant production house celebrates 30th anniversary with hybrid event full of inspiration and connection

The Flemish Brabant production house Sylvester, known for its innovative approach in TV, video and events, has celebrated three decades of success with a unique hybrid event. The celebration, held on November 30 and December 1, reflected Sylvester's core values: inspiration, creativity and connection.


The aim of this two-day event: to meet and inspire partners and customers physically and in an informal atmosphere. In the beautiful setting of Canapé Tervuren, and with VRT journalist Meryem El Mandoudi as a sympathetic host, Sylvester brought customers, partners and employees together in a setting that was both cozy and intriguing.


The first day was all about 'employer branding', with keynotes from Ann De Bisschop (The Circle of Wellbeing) and Lode Godderis (IDEWE). The second day focused on 'trends and artificial intelligence', with presentations by Tom Palmaerts (Trendwolves) and Frederik De Bosschere (In The Pocket, Computer Club). Computer scientist and 'Nerdlander' Jeroen Baert closed the two sessions with a fascinating – and sometimes hilarious – talk about AI


A notable passage was also the speech by CEO Geert Vanoverschelde, to the sounds of 'Viva La Vida' by Coldplay, and accompanied by musicians from the Sylvester team. This unique 'parlando' beautifully symbolized Sylvester's creative and innovative spirit.

Afterwards there was time for chats and networking during the walking dinner provided by Canapé Tervuren, under the culinary direction of chef Jeroen De Pauw. Afterwards, the party animals were also able to put their best foot forward.


The 'Sylvester touch', a combination of creativity, enthusiasm and connection, was present in every aspect of the event. The Sylvester team created an experience that not only inspired, but also highlighted the strong bond with customers and partners.


The event was also 100% hybrid, and could be followed completely digitally via the virtual Sylvester event platform MEEPLE. In the coming weeks, Sylvester will continue to share content regularly via online channels and social media, so that everyone can (re)experience the event. A nice souvenir for those who were there, a unique opportunity for those who missed it.
