How do I downgrade my business page?

We get it, a premium business page isn't always the right fit at every moment. The good news: even after downgrading, your reviews, posts, photos and followers stay safely stored on your account. If you ever change your mind, you can reactivate in one click and pick up exactly where you left off.

Before you go, a few things worth knowing:

  • Our review system is included for free with your premium business page. Comparable systems on the market cost €99 per month - and reviews drive 18% more sales (Google, Forrester, BrightLocal).
  • Your followers, reviews and engagement score have been building up your search ranking on eventplanner.net & Google for months or even years. A downgrade resets that momentum.
  • You also lose the booking engine, advanced analytics, free job listings, and the SEO boost from your high-quality inbound link.

How to downgrade?

If you have created your business page yourself via our website, you can request a downgrade at any time:

  • Go to the invoicing page
  • Click 'cancel' next to the subscription you want to stop
  • Follow the instructions on screen

You'll also find a downgrade link at the bottom of every settings page of the related business page.

What happens next

Your premium business page stays active until the end of your current subscription period - you keep everything you paid for until then. From the renewal date, your page is converted to a free listing. That means we remove the link to your website, your listing drops to the bottom of the search results, and you can no longer publish posts or job vacancies. Periods already charged are never reimbursed.

Working with a sales representative instead of an online subscription?

You'll automatically receive a yearly renewal proposal, as previously agreed. If you no longer wish to renew, let us know within 14 days of receiving the invoice, and we'll downgrade your page - provided you haven't actively used your business page in the new period. If you have, the renewal stands for the year, and the cancellation will only take effect at the end of that term.

One more thing...

If there's something we could have done better, we'd genuinely like to hear it. Just send us a message - it lands straight with our team.
