Craig Civic Center

Craig Civic Center is a city-run venue available to hire for gatherings, celebrations and organised activities in Kingwood, West Virginia. Its main space is an 11,000 sq ft gym and arena, giving organisers a large indoor setting for events that need room for guests, activities or equipment. The venue has two indoor basketball courts and bleacher seating, as well as dressing and shower facilities. A sound system, commercial kitchen and lobby with a concession stand are also on site, and a large car park serves visitors.

The centre has hosted conferences, training sessions, concerts, pageants, fundraisers, wedding receptions and birthday parties, alongside sports tournaments and roller-skating parties. Its open arena makes it suitable for a range of formats, from active community events to larger indoor gatherings. Organisers can enquire about building hire by the hour or for a full day, and multi-day bookings are available. The lobby and kitchen can also be hired separately, while birthday and roller-skating party packages are offered.

The centre sits beside Kingwood City Hall and the Kingwood Police Department, with a swimming pool and outdoor courts nearby. It is also close to the WV Northern Rail-Trail. Kingwood Parks and Recreation handles pricing and reservations, so event planners can contact the department to discuss availability and the requirements of their event.
