Historica-Gewölbe / Kultur im Keller

Kolpingstraße / Ecke Hospitalstraße, 56410 Montabaur, Germany

Historica-Gewölbe in Montabaur is a distinctive event venue for private celebrations and corporate events. The historic rooms are set by the town walls and combine the atmosphere of an old brewery cellar with facilities suited to today's events. Organisers can hire the venue for their own occasions and, if they wish, receive support with the organisation and running of their event.

The two interconnected vaulted rooms offer around 100 square metres in total. The space is suitable for smaller celebrations, corporate events, receptions and gatherings where a unique setting is important. Access is step-free. Facilities include high tables, stage elements, wooden tables and benches, additional chairs and fridges. A kitchenette is available for arranging catering and washing glasses and crockery. The seating and layout can be adapted to suit each occasion.

If you would rather not organise the celebration yourself, you can request a bespoke quote for a more comprehensive service. Drinks are supplied through the operating company. The venue is also a performance space for the cultural series «Kultur im Keller», whose programme includes music, cabaret, theatre and readings. This cultural use shapes the venue, but it is also available to external event planners who want to hold their own celebration or corporate event. Free parking is available nearby in the evenings.
