Planet Alsen e.V.

Otto-F.-Alsen-Straße, 25524 Itzehoe, Germany

Planet Alsen is a cultural venue on the site of a former cement works in Itzehoe. The surviving industrial buildings and distinctive graffiti-covered surroundings provide an unusual setting for events. The non-profit support association is committed to preserving parts of the site and making them available for cultural, artistic and educational projects.
The rooms and outdoor areas are suitable for a range of event formats. These include exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, seminars, small concerts and other cultural events. The proposed use of the site also includes a multifunctional media room and areas for events with up to 400 people. The options available for a specific project should be discussed directly with the association.
Well-known activities at the site include short film festivals and the Architecture and Culture Summer. Art, photography, film and the site's industrial history also play an important role. Planet Alsen therefore offers event planners a distinctive alternative to conventional halls and neutral meeting rooms, particularly when an authentic industrial atmosphere is desired. The site may also be of interest as a location for photography and film projects.
Planet Alsen is not a conventional event venue offering standardised all-inclusive packages. Its focus is on providing a cultural venue whose rooms and grounds can be used for suitable projects and events. Organisers should therefore get in touch well in advance to discuss availability, access, facilities and arrangements on an individual basis.
