Dorfplatz - Begegnung und Kultur is a municipal event venue in Dorfprozelten. The site was set up for club events, anniversary celebrations, annual events and traditional festivals, and is managed by the municipality.

Depending on their needs, organisers can use different areas for their events. These include a function hall with a stage pavilion and basement, several multi-purpose buildings and outdoor space. A separate building is provided for the toilets. The rooms and areas made available are specified in the usage agreement. The municipality manages bookings and provides online information about dates that have already been booked.

It is important to plan around the restricted permitted uses. According to the usage agreement, Dorfplatz is intended for public events that are not aimed at making a private profit and contribute to cultural life. It is particularly aimed at non-profit and non-commercial associations. Family celebrations are expressly excluded. The venue is therefore primarily suitable for associations and organisers planning a public festival or cultural event in Dorfprozelten, and not for private birthday parties or weddings.

The municipality is the point of contact for enquiries and coordinating use of the venue. Rental is subject to contractual requirements covering fees, a deposit, ancillary costs, cleaning and the return of the rooms used. Electricity and water are charged according to consumption. Organisers should clarify the conditions and any permits required with the municipality well in advance, before finalising the event date and arrangements.
