Swoop House & Wine Garden

Swoop House & Wine Garden is an intimate event venue in East Austin, set in a restored bungalow surrounded by a garden. It offers organisers a distinctive setting for private celebrations and gatherings, including birthday parties, showers, wedding receptions and holiday events. The character of the house makes it well suited to occasions where guests can gather around a meal or mingle in a relaxed, homely setting.

The indoor space can accommodate a seated dinner for up to 30 guests or a standing reception for up to 50. For events that make use of the outdoor garden, the venue can host gatherings of up to 200 people. Organisers can discuss the layout and event requirements with the venue team when making an enquiry.

Food can be arranged through a choice of local caterers, including 2 Dine 4 Fine Catering, Sawyer & Co., Lil' Easy and De Nada Cantina. Organisers may also bring in an outside caterer, giving them flexibility over the food offering. The venue can discuss proposals that combine the space with food, drinks and staffing, and a house manager is included with the stated rental arrangement. Its compact indoor capacity and larger garden option make Swoop House suitable for both intimate dinners and more open-air receptions. Event planners looking for a characterful Austin setting can contact the team to discuss availability and a tailored plan for their gathering.
