The Orangery Ingestre

The Orangery Ingestre is an exclusive-use venue in the Staffordshire countryside, offering a distinctive historic setting for weddings, private celebrations and business events. The restored, Grade II-listed building dates from the 1840s and features a bright interior with tall windows, set within gardens and parkland near Stafford.

Couples can hold civil ceremonies inside the Orangery or choose an outdoor ceremony beneath the ancient yew trees. The venue and surrounding grounds are available for exclusive use, giving organisers room to shape the day around their plans. For a seated wedding breakfast, the space accommodates up to 72 guests. More informal receptions, such as cocktail-style celebrations or outdoor gatherings, can welcome up to 120. Couples choose their own caterer, and the venue can point them towards recommended local suppliers for other elements of the day.

The Orangery is also available for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and other private occasions. Organisers can enquire about business hire for retreats, conferences and gala events, with the flexible setting suited to a range of gatherings. Private viewings can be arranged by contacting the team.

The venue is run by the Friends of Ingestre Orangery charity, and bookings support the care of this historic site. The grounds are open to visitors, while the Orangery itself is available by arrangement for private hires and events. This combination of period character, gardens and adaptable event space makes it a memorable option for celebrations and organised gatherings in Staffordshire.
