Garty Pavilion

Garty Pavilion is a private waterfront venue at the San Diego Rowing Club, on El Carmel Point beside Mission Bay. Its indoor-outdoor setting suits wedding ceremonies and receptions, bridal showers, private celebrations and other gatherings for up to 200 guests.

The pavilion's sliding glass walls open the room towards broad views across the bay, making it easy to connect the indoor space with its coastal surroundings. The position on the water gives events a scenic backdrop, with sunset and evening views adding a distinctive atmosphere. Couples can use the location for a beachside ceremony as well as a reception, while organisers planning other occasions can enquire about the space for their event.

Garty Pavilion is a venue rather than a full-service event package, so organisers can discuss their requirements and arrangements directly with the venue team. The pavilion is offered seasonally, from Memorial weekend through to the end of September, with bookings available on Saturdays and Sundays. Availability and suitability will depend on the date, guest numbers and the event plan, so it is worth asking early about preferred dates.

For event planners looking for a distinctively coastal location in San Diego, Garty Pavilion offers a combination of private setting, flexible indoor-outdoor space and views over Mission Bay. Contact the venue through its enquiry form to ask about availability and discuss hosting your event.
