Fasque Castle

Fasque Castle is an exclusive-use venue in the Aberdeenshire countryside, set within an estate near Fettercairn. Its historic baronial mansion and surrounding grounds provide a private setting for weddings, corporate retreats and celebrations, with the venue and estate reserved for one group at a time.

For weddings, couples can choose from several ceremony settings, including the Grand Hall, the Sunken Gardens and St Andrews Chapel. The castle's reception rooms, terrace and Fallow Hall offer distinct spaces for drinks, dining and evening celebrations. An in-house chef team prepares wedding meals and can shape menus around the occasion, while the team can help coordinate the day with the couple's chosen suppliers.

Business organisers can book the castle and grounds for away days and residential retreats. The team can help plan meetings, training, team activities and bespoke itineraries, with experiences ranging from whisky tastings and outdoor pursuits to golf and Scottish cultural activities. Event spaces include the Drawing Room, Library, Billiards Room and Fallow Hall, giving groups options for both working sessions and informal gatherings.

The house has 19 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests. Additional self-catering properties on the estate provide further beds for larger groups. With catering, event coordination, accommodation and private grounds available in one place, Fasque Castle is suited to organisers planning a multi-day gathering as well as a single celebration. The events team can discuss requirements and help shape a booking around the group, occasion and preferred programme.
