In the historic Groot Begijnhof in Mechelen, Moreelshuis offers a characterful venue for a variety of gatherings. The former chapel has been converted into a light, multifunctional space where organisers can hold both festive and professional events. The venue can be hired by the half-day or for a full day.

The large hall is suitable for receptions, family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries and exhibitions. Moreelshuis also provides an atmospheric setting for wedding ceremonies, baby showers and christening celebrations. A projector and projection screen are available for meetings, study days, training sessions and informal gatherings. In addition to the main space, there is a smaller room and a compact, equipped kitchen. Drinks can be ordered through Sjarabang.

In fine weather, the garden offers extra space for a reception or an outdoor gathering. There is also an outdoor bar, handy for a reception or garden party. The combination of indoor spaces and greenery makes the venue flexible for a range of programmes and group gatherings.

Moreelshuis is rented out by Sjarabang, an inclusive creative studio. By hiring the venue, you also help support the association's day-to-day activities. Organisers can get in touch for the rental conditions, a rental file or an appointment to view the spaces in advance.
