Knobel Barn

Knobel Barn offers a distinctive rural setting for weddings and other private celebrations near Kearney, Nebraska. The venue centres on a preserved barn built in 1922, bringing original character and a sense of local history to ceremonies and receptions.

Couples can choose from several ceremony locations, including the barn loft, an outdoor spot beneath a large cottonwood tree or a setting beside a metal gazebo in the barnyard. The loft can seat up to 120 guests for a ceremony. For receptions, the barn connects to a covered patio, with additional outdoor space in the yard. Tables and chairs are included for receptions of up to 200 guests, and the venue can discuss options for larger gatherings.

Packages range from a mini ceremony or ceremony-only booking to a reception or a combined ceremony and reception. The property also offers a bridal suite for ceremony bookings and a summer kitchen for securely storing belongings. Couples may arrange a ceremony walk-through, and a rehearsal dinner package provides use of tables, chairs, the patio and yard.

Beyond weddings, Knobel Barn welcomes enquiries for graduation parties, showers, birthdays, anniversaries and reunions. Organisers can bring in their own caterer or food truck, as catering is not provided by the venue. A patio bar is available for use with a properly licensed bar service. With indoor and outdoor settings and different booking formats, the barn gives organisers room to shape a gathering around their guest list and plans.
