Brickworks Event Center

Brickworks Event Center is a historic, flexible venue in the heart of Friday Harbor, available to hire for weddings, private celebrations, business gatherings and community events. The restored former brick factory offers an open-plan indoor hall, an outdoor plaza with green space and the Tokitae stage. Organisers can enquire about hiring the building, plaza and commercial kitchen together or separately, making it possible to shape the space around the event.

The venue suits wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, anniversaries and holiday parties, as well as meetings, training sessions, workshops, presentations, concerts and fundraisers. Its hall has room for up to 120 seated guests comfortably, with an indoor maximum of 160. The plaza provides additional outdoor space for gatherings and entertainment. The historic character, exposed timber structure and island setting give events a distinctive backdrop, while the central location is convenient for guests staying in Friday Harbor.

Facilities include a commercial kitchen for organisers or their chosen caterer, along with audiovisual equipment such as a drop-down screen, wireless microphones and in-ceiling speakers. Tables and chairs, a stage and other venue equipment are available for use, and the outdoor area has seating and a tent option. Brickworks does not require organisers to use a particular caterer, so they can arrange food and other suppliers to suit their plans.
