The 616 Venue

The 616 Venue is an exclusive-use venue in Wellow, on the edge of Sherwood Forest, for organisers planning weddings, private celebrations and residential corporate events. The property combines event space and group accommodation, giving guests room to gather, celebrate and stay together in one private setting.

For weddings, the venue offers a banqueting hall, dining area, courtyard and grounds, with space for a celebration of up to 80 guests. Couples can shape the day around their preferences, including the food and drinks arrangements, and may bring in their own suppliers. Overnight accommodation is available for up to 26 people across 13 en-suite bedrooms.

The venue also suits birthdays, family gatherings, hen and stag parties, reunions and weekend celebrations. Its leisure facilities include a private nightclub with sound and lighting, a bar, a games room, an indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tubs. Dining can be arranged in the venue's private restaurant, while self-catering is another option.

For business organisers, The 616 provides a secluded setting for corporate retreats, leadership away-days, residential training and team reward events. Flexible indoor spaces can be arranged in different layouts for presentations, workshops and group discussions, with lounge and courtyard areas available for breaks. The property can host daytime groups as well as overnight guests, and concierge-style support and food options can help organisers plan a stay around their programme. With exclusive use, accommodation, meeting areas and social facilities together, the venue offers an alternative to a conventional hotel or meeting centre.
