St Mary's Church Hall

St Mary's Church Hall is a community venue in Addington, Croydon, available for regular bookings and one-off events. The main hall can accommodate up to 100 people and measures 16 by 9 metres, with a ceiling height of 6 metres. Its size and layout make it suitable for organisers looking for a practical space for children’s parties, fundraising events and community activities. Bouncy castles are welcome, offering an option for family celebrations where there is room for children to play.

The hall is also used for a range of local gatherings, including baby showers, post-baptism parties, wakes and occasional wedding receptions. Community groups use the space for activities such as exercise, music and singing, and meetings. This makes it a useful choice for both private celebrations and regular group bookings.

Bookings are offered throughout the week, subject to availability. Weekend hire is particularly suited to children’s parties and fundraising events, while weekday slots are shared with established community groups. Organisers can check the online bookings calendar and submit a booking request for a suitable time. The venue has wheelchair-accessible access and toilet facilities. Hire terms include a security deposit and advance payment, and events must follow the stated finishing and music cut-off times. For rates, availability and booking arrangements, organisers can contact the parish office directly.
