The Big White Barn

The Big White Barn is a rural wedding and event venue near Decatur, Texas, set across more than 80 acres of open countryside. Its setting combines a rustic barn, pond, lawns and wide views, giving couples and event planners a choice of backdrops for ceremonies, receptions and celebrations.

The venue offers indoor, outdoor and covered ceremony options, so planners can select a layout to suit the occasion and have alternatives available if the weather changes. The climate-controlled barn has a covered patio and connects to a large outdoor pavilion for dining and dancing. A pond-side lawn, balconies and landscaped grounds provide further spaces for photographs and time outdoors.

Facilities include a bridal suite with a full bathroom, a separate groom's room, tables and chairs, and a catering kitchen equipped for food preparation and storage. Guests can also make use of an outdoor fire pit, recreation areas and a children's playground. The property offers flexible floor plan options, and organisers may bring their own vendors, subject to venue requirements for bartenders and security.

Wedding rentals include extended access to the venue, with package details and available dates confirmed directly with the team. The barn is presented primarily for weddings, while its grounds and event spaces can also accommodate other gatherings. Planners can arrange a tour to explore the different areas, discuss guest numbers and check which facilities are included for their event.
