Gemeindehalle Altbach offers event organisers several rooms of different sizes for celebrations, business occasions and cultural events. The large hall with its stage and gallery is the venue's centrepiece. Depending on the seating arrangement and use of the gallery, it can accommodate up to 400 people. This makes the hall suitable for events such as company anniversaries, talks, panel discussions and performances. A commercial kitchen is available for events with catering.

Smaller programme items and social gatherings can also be held in the other rooms. The vaulted cellar can accommodate up to 30 people and provides a rustic setting for birthday parties or a relaxed early-evening get-together. The foyer with bar can hold up to 60 people and can be used for receptions, conversations and talks. The rooms can be booked individually or in combination, allowing for different event schedules and sizes.

The Gemeindehalle is managed by the Municipality of Altbach. An application is required to hire it, and the municipality decides whether to approve it. Event organisers should coordinate the seating arrangements and handover with the caretaker. The available seating plans and the permitted visitor capacity for each room must be taken into account when planning. The hall is a few minutes' walk from Altbach S-Bahn station, and there is a bus stop opposite. For those travelling by car, there is parking directly beside the hall, as well as additional spaces at the station. Event organisers in Altbach can therefore find flexible rooms for private celebrations, company events and public events.
