Bridal Veil Lakes

Bridal Veil Lakes is an outdoor venue for weddings and other special events in the Columbia River Gorge, around 30 minutes east of Portland, Oregon. A three-acre spring-fed lake sits among old-growth forest, greenery and wildflowers, with views towards the gorge. The grounds offer a secluded natural setting for ceremonies, receptions and celebrations where guests can spend time by the water, walk forest paths or take a canoe out on the lake.

The venue is rented to one group per day during its event season, which runs from mid May to mid October. Organisers can arrange a tour by appointment and check dates through the online availability calendar. The site is designed for events of up to 250 guests, with ceremony and reception chairs, tables and a wooden ceremony arch included. For dining and dancing, there is an open-air pavilion and a covered lakeside patio, each with decorative lighting, as well as an uncovered patio and a covered bar.

Practical facilities include indoor toilets with showers, parking for around 150 vehicles, and a catering preparation area with a commercial refrigerator and freezer, work surfaces and a custom barbecue grill. Organisers are free to select their own suppliers or manage arrangements themselves, so they can shape the event around their preferred style and plans. Wedding rehearsal access is included with the rental. The venue also provides canoes with life jackets for guests to enjoy during their visit.
