1901 Arts Club

1901 Arts Club is an intimate venue for hire in a restored Victorian house near Waterloo. Its rooms suit organisers looking for a distinctive setting for chamber concerts, presentations, private celebrations and small business gatherings.

The ground-floor salon is arranged for performances and presentations, with a Steinway grand piano. It can host chamber music, auditions, book or CD launches, and talks for clients, sponsors or the press. A lounge and licensed bar provide space for guests to gather before or after a programme, while the terrace adds another area to the venue. Organisers can enquire about hiring the whole club or selecting spaces for their occasion.

For private and corporate events, the venue welcomes bookings for birthdays, anniversaries, client entertaining, product launches, briefings and seminars. The team can discuss event requirements and tailor arrangements, including entertainment, floral details, drinks and catering options. This makes the space suitable for occasions where the setting and guest experience are as important as the programme.

A separate meeting room is available for boardroom-style sessions, away-days and small conferences. The club also offers rehearsal and audition hire for musicians, as well as a characterful backdrop for filming and photography. For performances intended for remote audiences, live-streaming facilities can be arranged, with internet access available on site.

Based in central London, 1901 Arts Club combines a residential atmosphere with a range of bookable spaces and support for different event formats. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss availability, room hire and options suited to their event.
