Devizes Corn Exchange

Devizes Corn Exchange is a historic, centrally located venue in Wiltshire, available for hire for weddings, private celebrations, business gatherings, conferences, concerts, shows and fairs. Opened in 1857, the former covered market now combines characterful architecture with flexible spaces for events of different sizes.

The main Ceres Hall can be arranged for larger occasions, with capacity for up to 500 people for a conference, concert or show, and up to 200 for a banquet. For smaller gatherings, the Wessex and Yeoman rooms can be hired individually or used together, with a balcony adding further space. The basement Merchants Suite offers a distinct setting for parties and evening entertainment, with a bar, dance floor and stage, and a separate entrance for the Exchange nightclub.

Couples can consider the Corn Exchange for wedding receptions. The Ceres Hall can host a larger wedding breakfast, while the upper-floor rooms and balcony suit more intimate celebrations. Devizes Venues also offers wedding packages and works with local caterers, with menu options and drinks packages available to discuss. Catering arrangements can be tailored to the event, and two licensed bars serve the venue.

Organisers will find accessible rooms, lift access, air conditioning and an induction loop system. Nearby public car parks are within walking distance, although the venue does not have its own dedicated car park. The events team can help with enquiries and arrange a viewing, and the venue is available for hire throughout the week.
