Dorpskerk Hoog-Keppel

Burgemeester van Panhuysbrink 11, 6997 AA Hoog-Keppel, Netherlands

The Dorpskerk in Hoog-Keppel is a historic church available to hire for weddings, parties and a wide range of gatherings. Its medieval character, setting beside the village green and centuries-old cemetery surrounding the building give events a distinctive rural atmosphere. Organisers can use the church hall for a wedding ceremony, reception, dinner or wedding party, among other occasions. Family celebrations, talks, meetings and other gatherings are also possible.

The space can be arranged flexibly. The chairs can be moved to create different layouts, with room for up to 100 guests seated. The church hall also benefits from plenty of natural light, making it suitable for exhibitions. The venue is also suitable for concerts and audio recordings, partly thanks to its acoustics. There is a sound system and a piano on site. Experienced organists can play the organ.

For a party or dinner, the restaurant at the neighbouring golf club can provide catering. After a morning ceremony, the church hall can be rearranged for a reception or evening programme. The volunteers who look after the building are happy to discuss how it can be used and arranged. Introductory meetings and viewings are available by appointment. This gives event planners the chance to see in advance whether the historic space suits the atmosphere they want and the practical requirements of their event.
