Schwarzwaldhalle Appenweier is a municipal event hall for associations, organisations and other event organisers. It is suitable for public, cultural and commercial events. According to its rules of use, private events are generally not permitted. Anyone interested in using the hall should submit a request to the municipality of Appenweier. Hire is subject to approval.
The hall and a separate foyer are available for different types of event. Depending on the seating arrangement, the hall can accommodate between 1,104 and 1,687 seated guests. Events with standing areas can accommodate up to 2,436 people in the hall. The foyer has up to 208 seats or can accommodate 612 standing guests. This makes the venue suitable for enquiries about larger cultural events, association events and commercial events. The areas and seating arrangements available for a specific date should be confirmed directly with the municipality.
The hall is on Oberkircher Straße in Appenweier. There are ample parking areas nearby, and the venue is easily accessible via the A5, B3 and B28. According to the municipality, the hall is about a 15-minute walk from Appenweier railway station. Event organisers should submit their enquiries well in advance and clarify the terms of use and any additional costs with the administration. Schwarzwaldhalle therefore offers a large-scale setting for events that need a centrally located hall with flexible visitor and seating capacities.
