El Dorado County Fair & Event Center

El Dorado County Fair & Event Center offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning events in Placerville, California. Set across 48 acres near Highway 50, the grounds include four main buildings, lawns, pavilions, arenas, a plaza and other open-air areas. Spaces can be hired for occasions ranging from private celebrations and business meetings to fundraisers, exhibitions, concerts and larger public events.

The Mark D. Forni Building is the largest indoor option, with layouts for banquets, assemblies and expos. For weddings and receptions, the Marshall Reception Hall offers a commercial kitchen, bar, PA system and private bridal room. Smaller gatherings can use the Corker Building, which has a kitchen preparation area and opens onto outdoor space, or the Organ Room, a distinctive setting for banquets, meetings and receptions. Several grounds and pavilions provide alternatives for outdoor gatherings and activities.

Organisers can discuss rental arrangements with the fair office. Daily rentals include a setup based on the event design, access to a facilities staff member during the event and a set amount of rubbish collection. Parking is generally included, with arrangements for larger public events handled as needed. Additional equipment and services may be available for hire.

The centre also hosts its own year-round programme, including the annual county fair, community events and motorsport. An on-site RV park provides a practical option for visitors attending events. With a choice of room sizes and open-air locations, organisers can select a setting to suit the occasion and guest numbers.
