The Acre

The Acre is a private event venue in Abilene, Texas, set across three acres around a West Texas farmhouse. It offers couples and event planners a place to bring guests together for a wedding weekend, with the property available for preparations, celebrations and time with family and friends. On-site accommodation sleeps up to eight people, making it possible for a small group to stay together rather than travel between locations.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offer, and the grounds can also host rehearsal dinners, birthday and anniversary celebrations, reunions, graduation gatherings and retreats. The outdoor setting includes mature trees, open lawn and a stage for music or announcements. For wedding bookings, the venue lists a dance floor, ceremonial arch, wooden folding chairs, bench seating, picnic tables and serving tables among the included facilities. There is parking for approximately 150 cars, and a seasonal pool is available when conditions allow.

The property has a spacious kitchen and facilities intended to accommodate visiting caterers, giving organisers flexibility over food arrangements. The Acre is offered as a weekend rental, with the house and grounds providing a private base for the event and overnight stay. Couples can arrange a tour and enquire about availability and pricing through the venue. Its intimate, residential character makes it particularly suited to weddings and family celebrations where hosts want room for guests to spend time together before and after the main event.
