At Millery, around fifteen minutes from Lyon, Château La Gallée makes its historic wine estate available to organisers of private and business events. The château, its gardens and its former vat room offer several spaces for receptions of all kinds, in a heritage setting surrounded by vineyards.
Businesses can hold meetings, seminars, plenary sessions, product launches, drinks receptions and gala dinners here. The vat room, covering 360 m², can accommodate up to 300 people, depending on the layout. The château's reception rooms and gardens are well suited to more intimate gatherings, business meals and team-building activities. The venue's team supports organisers with the preparation and set-up of their event.
The estate also hosts weddings and private celebrations such as birthdays, engagements, christenings and family gatherings. The indoor spaces include reception rooms, a dining room, a smoking room and a wine cellar, while the outdoor areas can be used for ceremonies or open-air receptions. Separate spaces can be used by the couple to get ready and for a wedding night. Depending on the format chosen, receptions can bring together groups ranging from a few people to several hundred guests.
The château's wine-making history also shapes the experience offered to guests. Wine tastings, wine appreciation workshops and walks through the vineyards can complement a working day or reception. For catering, the estate works with partner chefs and caterers, offering options tailored to organisers' wishes. The château and vat room are heated in winter, making it possible to hold events throughout the year.
