Bay 7 at American Tobacco

Bay 7 is an event venue in Durham's American Tobacco Campus, offering a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate functions, fundraising events and private celebrations. The space occupies part of a former tobacco factory, with exposed brick, hardwood floors, steel features, large windows and a wraparound balcony that looks over the venue. Its historic industrial character gives event planners a memorable backdrop while leaving room to shape the layout around their programme.

The 10,000-square-foot venue can host events for approximately 70 to 400 guests. Planners can arrange the space for a wedding ceremony and reception, a seated dinner, a standing reception or a business gathering. Bay 7 promotes wedding options covering both ceremony and reception, as well as bookings for holiday parties and corporate events. Its downtown location places it close to hotels, the Durham Performing Arts Center and Durham Bulls Athletic Park, with the wider American Tobacco Campus providing additional surroundings for guests.

Food and drink are provided through The Angus Barn, the venue's exclusive caterer. Menu service can be arranged as plated dining, food stations or passed reception-style selections. The venue also lists event essentials including tables, chairs, linens, tableware, catering equipment, existing decor and lighting, staging and audiovisual equipment. This combination of a characterful room, catering and in-house amenities can help organisers plan a range of occasions from one location. Bay 7 is a venue hire option for event planners looking for a historic, adaptable space in central Durham.
