Schützenhaus Event GbR

Schützenhaus Heldburg is an event venue in southern Thuringia for weddings, family celebrations and business occasions. This historic half-timbered building from the 19th century is located at the foot of Veste Heldburg. The function room, measuring around 400 square metres, can host celebrations for up to 120 guests. A stage, parquet flooring and space for a dance floor provide the setting for celebratory meals, music and a varied evening programme. The terrace and garden can be used, for example, for an outdoor reception.

The venue is suitable for weddings as well as christenings, confirmations, milestone birthdays, funeral receptions, company anniversaries, conferences and Christmas parties. Equipment including a projector, screen and Wi-Fi is available for business events. The seating in the hall can be arranged to suit each occasion. Tablecloths and chair covers are provided, and decorations can be prepared by arrangement. Only one celebration is accepted per day, allowing organisers to use the venue and outdoor areas exclusively.

The on-site kitchen prepares food for events. Organisers can choose cold platters, finger food, set menus or hot and cold buffets, and discuss bespoke combinations. The menu also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes. Food and the event schedule are planned together, and any special dietary requirements can be discussed. The venue also offers a guest room for overnight stays. There is a car park right by the building, which is also suitable for coach parties. The team supports the planning process from the initial viewing through to agreeing the menu and schedule for the celebration.
